Oh hello there, Mr. Blog. Sorry I’ve neglected you so! During the Spring it became very necessary for me to take a step back and focus on my family. My husband and I were both going a hundred miles an hour in two different directions. The story of a working mom…it’s a constant pull between work and family! Recently my schedule has become much more manageable allowing me to shoot more (and possibly share more here!). I think it was a much needed break. I have lots of fun seniors and some cute families to share with you. But first, my beautiful sister-in-law is newly engaged! I had a blast capturing this sweet time for them. She is so ready to fill her home with pics of her with the two most important guys in her life. Bonus, I’m gaining a brother-in-law and an adorable nephew in just a few months! Yay! I could not be happier for these three…

The first year of life is just amazing. Nash’s mom and I were just talking about how much growth happens between 0 and 1…it’s incredible, really!  It is so much fun to capture all of the changes that happen in just one year. It’s a little bittersweet that this little guy is already one! Happy Birthday Nash…nash2pinimagenash3pinimagenash4pinimagenash5pinimagenash6pinimagenash7pinimagenash8pinimagenash9pinimagenash10pinimagenash11pinimagenash12pinimagenash13pinimagenash14pinimagenash15pinimagenash16pinimagenash17pinimagenash18pinimagenash19pinimagenash20pinimagenash21pinimage

Ah, a new year. I love new beginnings so much! My blogging always stops around the end of October until sometime in January when I have time to remember, “oh yeah, I have a blog that needs to be updated!” I get so slammed with sessions and don’t come up for air until right about the week before Christmas. I had a blast in 2015. I photographed more families than I ever have in one year! It was a lot of fun, so thank you times a million to all of my wonderful clients. Especially those who come back year after year! I’m thinking I’ll do a recap blog post if I can get it together before I start getting busy again with seniors, babies & more families! My calendar is already filling up for the Spring, yay! This family is #1 adorable and #2 related to me (!!!!)…it’s becoming a tradition that I photograph them every year after Christmas. Russ & Sam live in New York City with their precious daughter, Maxine. I love that I get to be a part of capturing these sweet memories for them while they are in Texas visiting family. It was crazy cold on this wintery day, but we survived and got some really sweet pictures…1pinimage2pinimage3pinimage4pinimage5pinimage6pinimage7pinimage8pinimage9pinimage10pinimage11pinimage12pinimage13pinimage14pinimage15pinimage16pinimage17pinimage
